About Us
New Zealand Canoe Polo
Within New Zealand canoe polo is governed by the New Zealand Canoe Polo Association. We administer the sport on behalf of our members with the mission: "To promote and encourage all aspects of Canoe Polo in New Zealand for the future of the sport and its participants".
New Zealand Canoe Polo has a membership of close to 2000, with a further 2000 people estimated to play canoe polo around the country.

Organisation Structure:
New Zealand Canoe Polo is governed by a Board of Directors (4 elected by the membership and 2 appointed). The Executive Council is responsible to the Board for the day to day management of the Association.
New Zealand Canoe Polo is a member of the New Zealand Canoeing Federation (the national sports organisation for all canoeing disciplines) which affiliates to the Oceania Canoe Association and International Canoeing Federation.
